Azerbaijani President congratulates Irakli Gharibashvili on appointment as PM

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev congratulated Irakli Gharibashvili on appointment as Georgian Prime Minister.

According to the Governmental Administration, the congratulatory letter accentuates importance to continue productive cooperation and strategic partnership relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan.

“Azerbaijan and Georgia are linked by friendly and good-neighborly relations with deep historical roots. I believe that productive cooperation and strategic partnerships between our countries will continue dynamically and expand based on the will of our closely tied nations,” reads the congratulatory letter.
