Armenian PM praises Tbilisi trilateral meeting, hopes for broader dialogue
“Recently, in Tbilisi, the meeting of the deputy foreign ministers took place. I think it is a very interesting format. I hope this will be developed into something larger and more complete,” said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Tirana, the Albanian capital, ahead of the European Political Community Summit.
Pashinyan made this statement while commenting on the recent meeting of deputy foreign ministers from Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan held in Tbilisi in April.
“Recently, in Tbilisi, the meeting of the deputy foreign ministers took place. I think it is a very interesting format. I hope this will be developed into something larger and more complete. I praise the efforts of the Georgian Prime Minister to make this format succeed,” Nikol Pashinyan stated.
The trilateral meeting between Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia took place in Tbilisi on April 17 and was seen as a positive step toward fostering dialogue and cooperation among the neighbouring nations.
