Archil Talakvadze - Electoral amendments will have full support during parliamentary voting

Our promise that the electoral amendments will have full support during the parliamentary voting is valid – Chairman of Parliament Archil Talakvadze stated during the public discussions of constitutional amendments.

The second public discussions ongoing today are aired by the Adjara Public Broadcaster. According to Talakvadze, the Parliament will start discussing the draft constitutional law on June 19.

“I would like to reiterate on behalf of the team that our promise that this system will have full support during the parliamentary voting is valid. The Parliament will begin discussing these amendments on June 19. By the end of June, we will probably be able to approve these amendments in three readings if they are supported by ¾ of the Parliament,”Speaker of the Parliament said.
