Appeals Court to discuss complaint of Prosecutor’s Office into Basiani incident
Tbilisi Appeals Court today will discuss the complaint filed by Prosecutor’s Office into incident at Basiani Night Club.
Prosecutor’s Office complains against the decision made by Tbilisi City Court based on which Tamaz Kvlividze, 27-year-old man, who is charged for having wounded one police officer and 2 security guards of Basiani Night Club, has been released on bail.
The incident took place on January 13. The charged person was presented indictment under three articles.
Tamar Chugoshvili, Vice Speaker of the parliament described the decision as the ‘case, which inflicts serious harm to the reputation of Georgian judiciary system.’
