Ambassador of Georgia to the UK – NATO’s jubilee activities is a wonderful platform

The NATO Leaders’ Meeting in which Georgian Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani will participate is a wonderful platform for Georgia to once again fix its aspirations, role, achievements, reforms and challenges – Tamar Beruchashvili, Ambassador of Georgia to the UK told First Channel.

According to Beruchashvili, Great Britain is a strong partner and supporter of Georgia on the path of NATO integration.

“This partnership is expressed not only by political statements but serious, large-scale practical projects and programs of cooperation that contribute to the improvement of our defense capabilities and modernization of our defense system,” Beruchashvili said.

NATO leaders will gather on December 3 for a summit to mark the alliance’s 70th anniversary. The 29 allies will meet in London symbolically since the first headquarter office of the military block was located in the capital of England.
