I have one simple message to Russia, the barbed wire fences are totally unacceptable, – Sir Alan Duncan, UK’s Minister for Europe made this statement after the meeting with Foreign Minister of Georgia Davit Zalkaliani. Alan Duncan is visiting Georgia.

The installed dividing lines, indicating the illegal presence of Russia there, are unacceptable. I have one simple message to Russia, the barbed wire fences are totally unacceptable and must be dismantled, – Alan Duncan stated.

According to him, barbed wire fences absolutely illustrate Russia’s illegal presence.

“Barbed wire fences absolutely illustrate Russia’s illegal presence, it is unacceptable. After leaving the EU, Britain will be able to have its own sanction regime against Russia; it is not yet legally possible. But irrespective of whether there are – the new sanctions, I hope the straightaway there will be at least very loud voices which condemn what happened on this line to make clear that it is totally unacceptable, it further discredits the Russia’s reputation”, –   Alan Duncan stated.
