The National Environment Agency has announced that temperatures in Georgia will remain at a scorching +40°C until August 9.

Weather forecasters have issued warnings that western Georgia could experience temperatures, climbing to +38°C and even +40°C.

“The intense heat poses significant risks, contributing to thermal stress, an increase in forest fires, and worsening drought conditions. The current threat level is classified as medium,” the Agency stated.
