The Agency of Internally Displaced Persons, Eco-Migrants and Livelihood handed over agriculture equipment to 107 IDPs, among them 86 persons residing in the Shida Kartli region.
Acting Director of the Agency, Irakli Mkheidze and Deputy State Envoy of the Shida Kartli Region, Abel Abesadze attended the event, which aims to provide the source of income for the IDPs.
“It is important for us to help the IDPs and eco-migrants to start entrepreneurship activities after settling in the rural territories, for them to have the source of income and not to only depend on state allowances,” Irakli Mkheidze said.
