Adjara Supreme Council approves 2023 budget

The Supreme Council of Adjara has approved the 2023 budget of the Autonomous Republic in the amount of GEL 535 million 549 thousand, making an 11% rise year-on-year.

According to the Minister of Finance and Economy of Adjara, social direction, education, and infrastructure are the main priorities for the upcoming year. Also, healthcare funding will increase.

The United National Movement members boycotted the session, citing Mikheil Saakashvili’s health condition as the reason.
