Adjara records 13 new cases of coronavirus

Adjara has recorded 13 new cases of coronavirus and three recoveries in the last 24 hours, said Ministry of Health of Adjara.

“Nine of them has contact with the confectionery shop ‘Dona.’ One patient is a family member of a municipal transport driver, one more diagnosed with the virus in the quarantine area, and two are family members of an infected patient,” noted the Ministry.

At this stage, 58 patients have been hospitalised in Batumi Republican Hospital.

Georgia has reported 28 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) today, bringing the total number of infected people to 1 596, according to stopcov.ge.

15 patients have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, increasing the total to 1 294.
