Adam Shantadze elected as Mufti of Georgia

Adam Shantadze, who has previously served as Deputy Mufti at the Administration of Muslims of All Georgia, has been elected as Mufti of Georgia.

Shantadze’s candidacy was supported by 13 members out of 19 from the Council of Muslims. Three candidates ran for the post. Shantadze was elected with 5-year term as Mufti of Georgia.
