The meeting between Zurab Abashidze, Special Representative of Georgian Prime Minister for Relations with Russia, and Gregoriy Karasin, Deputy Russian Foreign Minister will be held in Prague today.
Abashidze stated that one of the main topics of the meeting would be an agreement on customs monitoring, which was signed in 2011.
According to Abashidze, at today’s meeting, the Georgian side will try to clarify the position of the Russian side regarding this agreement.
Abashidze stated that allegations of the Russian side that the Georgian side is not ready to fulfill its obligations under this agreement are unfounded and he will try to clarify the reason for such accusation at today’s meeting.
