The training within the framework of Army Camp 2025, hosted by the Colonel Besik Kutateladze Sachkhere Mountain Training School and the Sergeant Academy in Kojori, named after Giorgi Antsukhelidze, has officially closed.
Deputy Defence Minister Grigol Giorgadze addressed pupils and instructors, focusing on the project’s significance. First Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth Affairs Levan Ghirsiashvili also addressed the audience.
The Georgian Defence Ministry’s initiative, Army Camp, bringing together pupils from various regions of the country, included pupil-centred activities.
This year, Army Camp hosted approximately 1700 pupils in 8 rotations. Along with firefighting, topography, military navigation, first aid, self-rescue, engineering and mining training, the students also learned how to manage unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Georgian Patriarchate was actively involved in the project. The project aims to raise patriotic spirit among youngsters, popularize a healthy lifestyle and boost awareness about the Georgian defence forces.
