5th Congress of Georgian Dream underway

The 5th Congress of Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia Party is underway at Underwheel Club at Mtatsminda Park in Tbilisi.

Georgian governmental members, Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Chairman of Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze, Kakha Kaladze, Tbilisi Mayor and General Secretary of Georgian Dream Party, MPs and representatives of Diplomatic Corps are attending the congress.

Bidzina Ivanishvili, founder of the party and former Prime Minister will be elected as Chairman of the party. New membership of Political Council will be approved as well.

Kakha Kaladze, Tbilisi Mayor and General Secretary of Georgian Dream Party, has already named members of Political Council. The Council will have 15 members.

Ivanishvili will address the Congress Participants and invited guests with a speech at the end of the event. PM and Tbilisi Mayor will also deliver speeches.
