16 521 cases of coronavirus detected in Russia per day

The 16 521 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Russia over the past day. This was announced on Saturday, October 24, at the operational headquarters to combat the spread of infection.

“Over the past 24 hours, 16,521 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Russia in 85 regions. Of these, 25.8% had no clinical manifestations of the disease. There were 296 deaths recorded. During the day, 11,567 people have fully recovered in Russia,” the message says.

Most of all new patients were registered in Moscow (4453), St. Petersburg (713) and Moscow region (480).

In total, 1,497,167 cases of coronavirus were detected in Russia in 85 regions. Over the entire period, 25,821 deaths were recorded, 1,130,818 people recovered.
