Two people detained in Mtskheta have been released

‘An employee of  European Georgia’s press office and a supporter of Georgian Dream party detained in Mtskheta have been released,’ –  Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia said today.

‘During a protest rally in Mtskheta, law enforcers detained two protesters – Tornike Diasamidze, an employee of  European Georgia’s press office and Alexander Piruzashvili, a supporter of Georgian Dream party. After the interrogation, they have been released.’

According to the agency, case files will be sent to the court for further decision.

Members and supporters of the European Georgia party tried to padlock the bureau office of Dimitri Khundadze in Mtskheta, but the ruling party activists did not allow them to do so.
