State Security Service released audio recording, as reported by State Service, Malkhaz Machalikashvili speaks with his nephew about preparation of terrorist act

The State Security Service of Georgia has released the audio recording, which, as stated by the State Security Service, confirms that Malkhaz Machalikashvili (father of Temirlan Machalikashvili, a 19-year-old youth killed during the special operation in Pankisi Gorge) was plotting terrorist act.

According to the State Security Service, the conversation between Malkhaz Machalikashvili and his nephew Moris (Hussein) Machalikashvili is recorded in an audio file.

A special briefing has been held at the State Security Service today. According to the state agency, the State Security Service of Georgia, in the scope of conducted activities aimed at preventing terrorist threats against public, has revealed Malkhaz Machalikashvili’s intention to murder several persons through organizing terrorist act.
