Russia wants to dictate choices to Georgia, Ukraine, but Bucharest summit decision stands, NATO's Colomina says

“Russia wants to dictate the choices countries like Ukraine and Georgia get to make with regard to their own future,” said Javier Colomina, NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy and Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, stressing that “as NATO Foreign ministers expressed recently in Riga, we are committed to the decisions adopted in the 2008 Bucharest summit.”
