“I congratulate everyone on the opening of the new season in Gudauri. I am sure this year will be unforgettable for our tourists. Gudauri meets the new season with 6 new ropeways, including 3 on Gudauri-Kobi section. This is very important, the Kobi-Gudauri-Stepantsminda to be developed in one cluster. These projects will allow us to increase the carrying capacity of Gudauri about four times, which means that there will be a comfortable environment for tourists in Gudauri and we will not have any queues that concerned us over the previous years,” Bakhtadze said.

The Prime Minister talked about other ongoing infrastructural projects in Gudauri.“The water reservoir project is almost completed. You know that we have already started the installation of artificial snowmaking infrastructure in Gudauri. We want Gudauri to be a resort of world importance. Of course, it is necessary the artificial snowmaking system to operate properly,” Prime Minister said.

PM thanked all those including heads of the companies, who were involved in the implementation of projects in Gudauri.
