Gudauri to host Snowboard Cross World Cup

Georgia’s ski and winter resort Gudauri will host the 2024 FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup for the first time on February 3-4, the Mountain Trails Agency reported.

Ninety athletes from 17 countries will participate in the tournament. The FIS race director of the competition, Uve Bayer will attend the event, which will be broadcasted live on Eurosport.

In 2023, Bakuriani winter resort successfully hosted the FIS World Championship in Freestyle, Snowboard and Frisky.

This year’s event will be held with the support of the Georgian government, the Mountain Trails Agency (MTA) of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, and the International Ski and Snowboard Federation.
