Out of the 5 new COVID-19 cases, 3 are imported, the source of infection into 2 cases is unknown – said Marina Ezugbaia, Medical Director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases.

According to Ezugbaia, out of three imported cases, 2 are truck drivers. The 246 patients continue treatment at COVID Centers.

Georgia reported 5 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) bringing the total number of infected persons to 1160, according to stopcov.ge, special webpage created by the Georgian government.

Six more patients recovered from the novel virus in the latest 24 hours, increasing the total number of recovered patients to 935.
