Marina Ezugbaia -- Out of new COVID-19 cases, source of infection into one case is unknown

Marina Ezugbaia, Medical Director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases Hospital, said that out of the 7 new coronavirus cases revealed in Georgia, one is imported, five – represent contacts of confirmed cases, and the source of infection in one case is unknown.

Ezugbaia noted that there are 32 infected patients at Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases Hospital and their health condition is stable.

Georgia reported 7 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infected people to 1213, according to stopcov.ge

Seven more patients have recovered from the novel virus in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recovered patients up to 994.
