“October 1, 2012, turned out a decisive day on the path of our country’s democratic development. Georgian people made their choice in favor of freedom and said no to the regime based on infringement of human dignity,” Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze reported during the briefing held before the governmental sitting.

PM underlined that Georgian Dream gained the biggest victory together with Georgian people and changed the ruling power through peaceful means to begin a completely new stage for Georgia’s statehood.

“We reached progress in every sphere and the progress is apparent. Many difficulties and challenges remain. But I believe we will solve them together with Georgian people. Georgia will be a united, economically strong, developed country and it will become a full-fledged member of European family and NATO,” Bakhtadze stated.
