Ioan Holender to prepare program about Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theater for Servus TV

Ioan Holender, a Romanian born Austrian opera baritone and administrator will prepare a program about Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theater and Tbilisi cultural life for Austrian TV-channel Servus TV.

Holender arrived in Tbilisi together with his shooting team and will stay in Georgia for one week. He was hosted by Badri Maisuradze, Art Director of State Opera and Ballet Theater this afternoon. Holender toured about the building and recorded an interview with Maisuradze.

Ioan Holender is advisor of the Metropolitan Opera New York and the Spring Festival Tokyo and artistic director of the George Enescu Festival Bucharest. He is a lecturer at the University of Vienna and at the Danube University Krems. Further, he is a jury member for several international singing competitions. He also has his own cultural-magazine on the Austrian TV-channel ServusTV.
