Interior Ministry to investigate incident related to Mtavari Arkhi TV crew, cartographer Melashvili

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) launched an investigation into an incident involving the Mtavari Arkhi TV crew and cartographer Iveri Melashvili on a charge of violence. Inquiry is underway.

Mtavari Arkhi reported an attack on its TV crew on the territory of the Davit Gareji monastery complex.

TV channel informed that clergy showed aggression towards cartographer Iveri Melashvili and camera crew filming a report and physically assaulted their journalist, videographer and Iveri Melashvili.
