Independent MPs to form faction in parliament

Independent MPs will form a separate faction in the Georgia parliament. Mariam Jashi will chair the new faction to be called “Independent Lawmaker.”

Members of the new faction will be MPs Levan Koberidze, Gedevan Popkhadze, Koba Narchemashvili, Levan Gogichaishvili, Mariam Jashi and Zviad Kvachantiradze.

According to Levan Koberidze, the faction will work on the issues, which are important for the population.

Six lawmakers can form a separate faction in the parliament according to general regulations of the supreme legislative body.
