Gov't introduces amendments to the Law of Georgia on Broadcasting

The Ministry of Education of Georgia and the Government of Georgia has prepared amendments to the Law of Georgia on Broadcasting regarding the educational project – Teleschool (Teleskola).

According to the changes, the administrative body, political party, official and public servant will be banned to fund Public Broadcaster.

However, as an exception, this ban will not apply to educational and cultural programs.
