Georgia reported 359 coronavirus cases, 526 recoveries, and 6 deaths on Monday, the official figures show.
13,685 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 7,795 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 5,890 were PCR tests.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 202 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Adjara region with 46 cases, and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 40 cases.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 288,755, among them, 277,829 people recovered and 3,883 died.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 2,62%, while 2.31% in the past 14 days.
There are 188 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 2,422 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 295 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
Currently, out of 380 critical patients, 79 require mechanical ventilation.
