Georgia marks Abkhazia Day today

Georgia marks the day of Abkhazia (Abkhazetoba) on May 23.

By the initiative of Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II, May 23 has been announced as a day of Abkhazia in 2014.

On this day, the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia is holding week-long celebrations in the Georgian capital Tbilisi.

The Mziuri Park hosted a photo exhibition and a concert. Moreover, adult IDPs living in the Varketili district benefited from the events dedicated to the day of Abkhazia.
