Fast and Furious 9 movie will be premiered in Georgian cinemas starting May 19.
The movie was partially shot in Georgia as part of the state program Film in Georgia. The shooting took place on some of the major streets and avenues of Tbilisi and a central shopping center in the Georgian city of Rustavi.
F9 is produced by Original Film and Universal Pictures. The movie is directed by Justin Lin and starring Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez.
Enterprise Georgia said about 32 million GEL was spent on filming F9 in Georgia.
The film crew consisted of 600 people, among them, 425 were locals.
“Intrest towards our country grew following successful filming of F9 in Georgia. Now the talks are underway over several Hollywood films,” Enterprise Georgia added.
