GD MP believes political agreement to be possible

Mikheil Sarjveladze, Chairman of the parliamentary Human Rights Committee, believes that reaching a political agreement with the opposition is possible amid differences between the confronted sides.

According to Sarjveladze, the government is frankly eager to complete the negotiations process with a promising outcome.

Chair of the Human Rights Committee said that the ruling team observed an unconstructive attitude on the opposition side that disclosed the details of the negotiation.

“Common sense usually wins. . . . Everybody should seek the tangible outcome with which the country will take a step forward. The steps of the opposition are destructive and serve mercantile party interests. The negotiations should be fruitful,” Mikheil Sarjveladze claimed.
