Bidzina Ivanishvili does not rule out sending an open letter to U.S. Congress or Senate

I do not rule out sending an open letter to the U.S. Congress or Senate, the U.S. President’s Administration to publicly explain how the U.S. funded organizations are damaging the U.S. interests in Georgia – Bidzina Ivanishvili, leader of the ruling Georgian Dream Party, said speaking in Talk Show “SWOT Analysis” with Imedi TV on November 27.

Ivanishvili claimed that the U.S. funded NGOs staffed by representatives of the oppositional National Movement Party were damaging the U.S.-Georgian relations.

“Of course, the U.S.-Georgian relations are damaged. Our team inviolately protects the U.S. interests, and there is no example that any member of our team does anything against it. We firmly and sincerely protect the U.S. interests. What is happening here is that the people of the National Movement are governing the NGOs, founded by Americans, that is a very sad reality,” Ivanishvili told Imedi TV.
