GD Honorable Chairman expresses deep sorrow over wrestler Levan Tediashvili's death

Honorable Chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party, Bidzina Ivanishvili expressed deep sorrow over the death of the legendary wrestler Levan Tediashvili.

In his condolence message, Ivanishvili said that Levan Tediashvili was the “most titled athlete in the Georgian history.”

“His contribution to the development and promotion of Georgian wrestling is invaluable. Not only with his sports achievements, but also with his personal qualities, Levan Tediashvili will always be a role model for the next generation,” he said and offered his condolences to the family, relatives and society.

A legendary Georgian freestyle wrestler, Levan Tediashvili died at the age of 75.
