Zelensky requires law enforcement bodies to find those involved in the recording of audiotape
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy requires law enforcement bodies to find those involved in the recording of conversations at the meeting of Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk, ministers and representatives of the National Bank of Ukraine within two weeks, President’s Press Office reports.
“I demand to get information in two weeks, as soon as possible. Find out who did it and deal with it,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.
In addition, the President noted that the criminal proceedings should clearly identify the list of persons present at the negotiations and clarify the circumstances of these negotiations.
The audiotape was uploaded to an anonymous YouTube channel on Wednesday. Ukraine’s Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk was caught on tape saying Volodymyr Zelensky knows nothing about the economy.
After this incident, Honcharuk, 35, said he has submitted his resignation.
