Weather forecasters predict rain in parts of Georgia on December 16-17, with snow in high mountains
According to the National Environment Agency, on December 16-17, there will be rain in parts of Georgia with snow in the high mountains, whilst December 18 will be mostly dry.
Meteorologists report that Tbilisi will have mostly dry weather. Daytime temperatures will reach +6 to +8 degrees Celsius.
“In coastal areas (Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Poti), rain is expected on December 16, whilst December 17-18 will be dry. Daytime temperatures will reach +8 to +10 degrees Celsius.
In the lowland areas of western Georgia (Zestaponi, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti), rain is expected on December 16, whilst December 17-18 will be dry. Daytime temperatures will reach +9 to +11 degrees Celsius.
In the mountainous areas of western Georgia (Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, Rikoti Pass), precipitation is expected on December 16, whilst December 17-18 will be dry. Daytime temperatures will reach +6 to +8 degrees Celsius.
In the high mountain areas of western Georgia (Mestia, Bakhmaro), snow is expected on December 16, whilst December 17-18 will be dry. Daytime temperatures will reach +1 to +3 degrees Celsius.
In Kartli (Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, Tskhinvali), mostly dry weather is expected. Daytime temperatures will reach +6 to +8 degrees Celsius.
In Kakheti (Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sighnaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, Dedoplistskaro), mostly dry weather is expected. Daytime temperatures will reach +7 to +9 degrees Celsius.
In the mountainous areas of eastern Georgia (Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Pasanauri), light snow is possible in places on December 16-17, whilst December 18 will be mostly dry. Daytime temperatures will reach 0 to +2 degrees Celsius.
In the high mountain areas of eastern Georgia (Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo), light snow is possible in places on December 16-17, whilst December 18 will be mostly dry. Daytime temperatures will reach -2 to -4 degrees Celsius,” notes the National Environment Agency’s information.
