Water level in Enguri Hydro-electric power plant reduced to 439 meters
The water level in Enguri Hydro-electric power plant has been lowered to 439 meters. The Press Center of the power plant reports that the remaining resource is not enough to cover the full consumption of the occupied Abkhazia region.
“The Abkhazian side began limiting the electricity consumption and imposed a 4-hour schedule a day. The minimal level in the water reservoir is 420 meters and when the water reaches this level, the hydro-electric power station will stop working,” reads the statement released by the power plant.
