Washington Mayor issues citywide curfew amid protest on the death of George Floyd
Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser imposed a citywide curfew from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday as violent clashes between protesters and police over the death of George Floyd rising.
Mayor also activated D.C. National Guard to support the local police.
George Floyd, 46, died after being apprehended by police outside a shop in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
