Warm, dry, and windy conditions expected in Western Georgia until February 8
The National Environment Agency (NEA) reports that warm, predominantly dry, and windy weather is anticipated in Western Georgia until February 8. Meanwhile, some regions of Eastern Georgia may experience light rainfall and fog.
Forecasters indicate that light precipitation and fog could affect Tbilisi, with nighttime temperatures ranging from -1 to +1°C, and daytime highs between +8 and +10°C.
Along the coast (Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Poti), conditions will remain largely dry, with southeasterly winds prevailing. Night temperatures will be between +7 and +9°C, rising to daytime highs of +17 to +19°C.
In the lowland areas of Western Georgia (Zestafoni, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti), dry weather will continue, accompanied by strong easterly winds. Night temperatures are expected to be around +6 to +8°C, with daytime highs reaching +16 to +18°C.
In the mountainous regions of Western Georgia (Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, Rikoti Pass), mostly dry conditions are forecasted, with some areas experiencing strong easterly winds. Nighttime temperatures will be between -2 and +2°C, and daytime highs will be around +13 to +15°C.
In the highland areas (Mestia, Bakhmaro), conditions will remain mostly dry, with night temperatures falling to between -6 and -8°C, and daytime temperatures reaching +6 to +8°C.
In the Kartli region (Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, Tskhinvali), some locations may see light precipitation and fog. Night temperatures are expected to be around 0 to -2°C, with daytime highs of +10 to +12°C.
In Kakheti (Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sighnaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, Dedoplistskaro), light rain and fog are possible in certain areas. Night temperatures will range from -2 to -4°C, with daytime highs of +3 to +8°C.
The mountainous regions of eastern Georgia (Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Pasanauri) may experience light snow and fog in some locations. Night temperatures are forecasted at -6 to -8°C, with daytime highs between +7 and +9°C.
In the higher mountains of eastern Georgia (Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo), light snow and fog could occur. Night temperatures will range between -10 and -12°C, with daytime highs of -2 to +3°C.
