Vice Speaker Tsilosani: Poland's decision serves Georgian radicals' demand for new hub of disinformation and destructive propaganda

“In the case of several EU member states, we are witnessing just how far towards the absurd the decisions of certain bureaucrats are careening,” Parliament’s Vice Speaker Nino Tsilosani told GPB First Channel.

In her view, Poland’s decision to add a Georgian-language section within its broadcaster, aimed at audiences inside Georgia, cannot be justified to its own people.

“Regrettably, Poland’s decision answers the demands of Georgian radicals who are clamouring for a new hub of disinformation and the kind of destructive propaganda that is wholly incompatible with the interests of a sovereign state,” Tsilosani declared.
