“Members of Giorgi Gakharia’s party have laid the groundwork for entering parliament. Simultaneously, they have gauged how the radical opposition might respond to this move,” said MP Nino Tsilosani, Vice-Speaker of Parliament.

According to Tsilosani, “At the same time, they have created preconditions for entering parliament after the local government elections, enabling them to begin their activities.”

“Let us not forget their party leader’s statement that not entering parliament was a mistake. It’s only natural for people to analyse the wrong actions they are taking, such as betraying their own voters and trampling on the mandates they secured in the 2024 parliamentary elections,” Tsilosani remarked.

According to available information, eight members of the Gakharia for Georgia electoral list are expected to enter parliament. However, the party itself has not confirmed this.
