Vice Speaker Nino Tsilosani: EU can end fruitless debate by initiating negotiations

“It is encouraging that the archive retains many documents, including statements from the EU Ambassador asserting that the EU has halted Georgia’s accession process. To reverse this narrative is a double standard—unfair and an attempt at manipulation,” stated Vice Speaker Nino Tsilosani.

According to Tsilosani, the EU should initiate negotiations, and doing so would clearly demonstrate the Georgian Dream’s commitment to advancing Georgia’s EU integration process.

“They will have our support, which will reveal who truly obstructs the process. The EU can put an end to this unproductive discourse by commencing negotiations. We will show that the Georgian Dream is a pro-European, pro-Western government that is dedicated to this process,” she asserted.
