Vake Park tragedy survivor teen is likely to be discharged from hospital today

The health state of one of the three teens, electrocuted in Vake Park fountain on October 13, is satisfactory, said Davit Tsibadze, the head of New Hospitals’ Children Health Center.

The clinic will decide whether to send the teenager home after consultations, the doctor added.

“The period that was associated with various risks has already passed. After some examination and consultation, we will probably let him go home during the day”, he said.

Three minors were electrocuted while attempting to retrieve a ball that had fallen into the Vake Park fountain on October 13. One died, while two were hospitalized. The third teen has already been  discharged from the clinic.
