Used New Year Trees and Chichilakis can be delivered at 4 locations

The used New Year Trees and Chichilakis (a Georgian traditional Christmas tree made from dried hazelnut or walnut branches that are shaved to form a small coniferous tree) can be delivered at Vake Park, Kikvidze Garden, Rike Park, and Vere Garden.

Giga Gigashvili, Head of Greening Municipal Service said that the green waste would be recycled and used in different directions. Gigashvili claimed that recycling of used New Year Trees and Chichilakis would be a step forward in waste management.

Kakha Kaladze, Tbilisi Mayor suggested the population delivering of used New Year Trees and Chichilakis to special places within the framework of “Care for the City” Campaign during the city governmental sitting.
