US President Joe Biden congratulated two Georgian graduates of the United States Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) on the successful completion of BA program.
The graduation ceremony was held at New London city. The Georgian graduates Nikoloz Tvildiani and Sandro Stazhadze received diplomas.
The Border Police Head, Colonel Nikoloz Sharadze and Coast Guard Department Director, Captain Ramaz Papidze, attended the solemn ceremony.
Nikoloz Tvildiani and Sandro Stazhadze are the first cadets who were sent to the academy with the support of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). A total of 240 students graduated from the USCGA this year.
