Up to 400 IDPs to be provided with equipment, tools for self-employment

Up to 400 IDPs will be provided with equipment and tools to promote self-employment, the Ministry of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Affairs reported.

The program aims to support professional activities of IDPs and ecomigrants to ensure their source of income.

The winning projects were selected by the commission according to pre-defined criteria. It was up to the program participants to choose professional tools that would help them start or expand their business.

“Alongside resettlement, ensuring the creation of additional sources of income for internally displaced persons represents a significant priority for Internally Displaced Persons, Eco-Migrants and Livelihood Agency, which implements various target programs annually,” the Ministry said.
