UNM's Tsiskarishvili: Georgia to remain on America's radar as model of success and EU integration

“The Georgian Dream will not succeed in removing Georgia from America’s radar; instead, Georgia will serve as an example of success, progress, and integration into the European family across the entire region,” said Petre Tsiskarishvili, Secretary General of the United National Movement opposition party.

Furthermore, Tsiskarishvili stated that the illegitimate regime of the Georgian Dream hopes that the American administration will focus solely on American issues.

“The illegitimate regime of the Georgian Dream hopes that the American administration will focus solely on American issues. They expect the United States to be isolated from world events and to turn a blind eye as they cosy up to their preferred states, such as Iran, Russia, Belarus, and China. Of course, this will not happen. America has even greater ambitions to play a key role in regional politics, especially in the South Caucasus and the Black Sea region. Georgia will no longer be a painful scenario for the U.S., as some of our friends and partners in Eastern Europe have suggested. What Putin could not achieve through military means, he has managed to accomplish through elections and the influence of the Georgian people, if I may paraphrase his phrase. Georgia will serve as an exemplar of success, progress, and development, joining the broader European family and inspiring other countries across the region,” Tsiskarishvili stated.

According to the press service of the United National Movement, “during the discussion with the senators, topics such as the Georgia-U.S. partnership, the ties between the Ivanishvili regime and the Kremlin, China, and Iran, as well as the issue of political prisoners, were addressed.”
