UNM’s Murtaz Zodelava: Male force to take action today; we will gather and seize keys to Presidential Palace

“I want to address the employees of the law enforcement system, the Special Task Force, and others. Today, you stand before a concrete choice. You must choose either the Georgian people or servitude to Ivanishvili. Today we stand here, and male force will take action today,” stated Murtaz Zodelava, a member of the United National Movement, at the ongoing rally.

According to him, today, rally participants must seize the keys to the Presidential Palace.

“I ask everyone, men only, we’ll begin the movement so that the Georgian people can start reclaiming their own centres of power. We ask one question to any police officer we encounter: whose side are you on? The people’s, the Constitution’s, or Ivanishvili’s? Your homeland or Russia? Only those who give the right answer, that they serve the Georgian people and the state, will be regarded by us as police officers.

This is our approach. Enough of the blah-blah, the wandering about, the slavery to Bidzina, the servitude. I ask everyone, let the men’s force come forward; ladies should remain here. Come on, male force, towards Baratashvili Park. We’ll gather now and seize the keys to the Presidential Palace,” Zodelava stated.
