UNM's Khatia Dekanoidze: Coalition government to follow election mandate
“We will engage in significant discussions to form a coalition government following the Georgian people’s mandate in the elections,” stated Khatia Dekanoidze, a leader in the Unity-National Movement alliance.
Dekanoidze noted that she had not been informed of the President’s views on candidates for the future cabinet, emphasizing that the primary focus should be on defeating Bidzina Ivanishvili.
“October 26 is a turning point—a day for Georgian citizens to grant their mandate to all involved in this struggle, including civil society and political parties,” she said, highlighting their shared responsibility.
She also emphasized that the Unity-National Movement alliance, as a signatory of the President’s proposed Georgian Charter, acknowledges the importance of reforms and the messages from Georgia’s partners.
