UNM: Opposition wants negotiations to be result-oriented

The opposition wants the negotiations to be result-oriented. The sides must reach an agreement that will end the political crisis in Georgia, said Tina Bokuchava, a member of the opposition United National Movement (UNM) party.

According to Tina Bokuchava, the public is well aware of the opposition’s standpoint, and now it is up to the ruling party to make concessions. “We have not heard any compromised proposal from the Georgian Dream against the flexible position of the opposition, which is ready to compromise. But they will be forced to concede under the background of the international pressure,” Bokuchava claimed.

The UNM member welcomed the European Council President’s investing in the negotiations process.

European Council President Charles Michel stated on March 22 that his personal envoy Christian Danielsson would travel back to Georgia to continue mediation.
