PM Kobakhidze hosts official dinner for President of Uzbekistan

Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia, hosted an official dinner in honour of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who is paying a state visit to Georgia together with his delegation.

According to the press service of the Georgian Prime Minister, the Head of Government underscored the significance of the first-ever visit to Georgia at the highest level, noting its importance for the further development of bilateral relations.

The guests travelled by the Tbilisi Funicular and enjoyed panoramic views of the capital.

In honour of the visiting dignitary, the Tbilisi TV Tower was illuminated in the colours of the national flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, is paying a two-day state visit to Georgia. As part of the visit, he is scheduled to hold both one-on-one and expanded meetings with Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia, on Friday. Following the meetings, the relevant institutions of the two countries will sign several memoranda of cooperation across various fields.
